Job Description:

  • Create appropriate design artifacts to further project and team goals, including but not limited to visual designs, images, illustrations, responsive web layouts, prototypes, icons, reports, synthesis documents, user journey maps, user interface flows, wireframes and comprehensive style guides
  • Work with other UX designers to build, iterate, improve a common design system where appropriate
  • Proactively participate in all design and team activities for a large-scale, high-profile project
  • Lead design activities and participate in user research and service design
  • Work with developers to understand the micro-interactions, behaviors, and implementation of designs in code

Responsibilities:

  • Candidates must be willing and able to pass an assessment conducted by Client hiring manager(s).
  • Vendor MUST provide a link to candidate’s portfolio in the submitted resume

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in UX design, service design and/or user research (or related fields) with demonstrated experience independently creating visual, interaction and service designs for enterprise projects
  • Ability to communicate clearly to a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Understanding of and experience with user research principles and benefits
  • Ability to plan, conduct and deliver meaningful, actionable user research and results
  • Understanding of product development methodology, frameworks, and principles
  • High skill in visual design and UX software including Figma
  • Knowledge of modern technology, including cloud technology, architecture, agile delivery methods and software practices
  • Ability to prototype in different ways, e.g. on paper, in code, in conversation
  • Ability to build clear visualizations of service and user journeys to help teams plan and prioritize work
  • Able to build great relationships with a wide range of disciplines
  • Ability to think strategically, mapping organizational needs to user experience, content and interaction design
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams to design and build services and improve existing service delivery
  • Proven experience of building positive relationships with a range of both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to translate business language to plain English, bridging the gap between a corporate service need and a user need
  • Experience using analytics, user feedback, and user research to evaluate and improve user experience
  • Experience creating clear content and interaction across multiple services and channels concurrently, working between product teams with the ability to prioritize
  • Candidate MUST have an online portfolio and provide a link as part of the submission package (in the body of the resume preferred)
