Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Public Safety Remedy CMDB Developer to support and enhance the BMC Remedy/Helix CMDB

environment.

This role focuses on evaluating current practices, reviewing ITIL processes, and ensuring critical Configuration Items (CI) are

properly documented for both current Business as Usual (BAU) and NextGen initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and gather current BMC Remedy/Helix CMDB practices and processes for BAU and NextGen work.

Review Incident Management, Service Request Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, and other ITIL process areas.

Review Lifecycle tools such as Discovery, ADDM, Netscout, SCCM, and other CMDB-related tools/products.

Troubleshoot and audit Incident, Release, Change, and Lifecycle Management processes.

Identify and ensure critical Configuration Items (CI) for current state and NextGen are properly accounted for and documented in the CMDB.

Identify, add, modify, and remove CIs via automation/remedy workflow.

Perform reconciliation and validation of CI relationships for BAU and NextGen work.

Audit configuration records and dependency information.

Determine areas for optimization and best practices.

Examine and recommend enhancements and potential tool-sets for Incident, Change, Service Requests, Release, and Lifecycle control procedures.

Provide applicable documentation, workflows, diagrams, etc.
