Job Description:

The city is seeking a Salesforce Specialist II to manage the design, development, and implementation of customized solutions

on the Salesforce platform.

This role will primarily focus on Service Cloud and Community Cloud to transform the client experience.

The consultant will manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including development, testing, deployment, and

post-deployment support while ensuring solutions are secure and optimized for performance.

Responsibilities:

Develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flows.

Participate in technical architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to ensure best practices.

Collaborate with functional and business teams to determine the optimal implementation approach.

Develop, maintain, and enhance integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.

Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and well-architected technical solutions.

Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including development, testing, deployment, documentation, and post-deployment support.

Ensure solutions are highly secure, optimized for performance, and built to scale.

Work closely with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business goals and objectives.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members as needed.
