Job Description:

· The Application Operations Manager will also be responsible for leading a team that troubleshoots these applications, coordinating the deployment of patches and AWS service upgrades as needed.

· This role offers the opportunity to work with teams such as development, infrastructure, and security.

· Lastly, it requires critical thinking and creative problem solving, along with an understanding of industry best practices and AWS cloud experience, to operate these services.

Requirements:

· At least 8 years of experience in managing engineering teams responsible for developing and supporting web applications and infrastructure.

· Able to manage the team’s time effectively, and plan for future operational requests.

· Keeps calm under pressure while providing guidance to an operational team, particularly in an outage scenario.

· Able to adapt to a changing environment and incorporate new technologies as needed to increase the operational efficiency of the team and supported applications.

· Strong oral and written communications skills.

· Self-motivated, must be a proven team leader.

· Able to lead the team to identify and solve problems quickly and efficiently.

· Experience with migrating enterprise applications from on-premises to cloud infrastructure
