Job Description:

The network project managers will coordinate efforts with agency and external teams, equipment vendors, and other specialists during hardware deployment, and network setup.

Their expertise will help ensure network system integration and interconnectivity of all health department locations including the new PHL facility and other agency-managed sites.
Responsibilities:
-
A minimum of eight years of experience in program or project management, specifically in network infrastructure deployment in a new construction environment.

Greater consideration will be given to proposers who have experience in healthcare or health lab environments.

A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

PMP, PMI, or related project management certifications are a plus.

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or other relevant network certifications are a plus.

A proven ability to manage budgets and financial aspects of projects, with experience in new construction projects and/or healthcare budgeting a plus.

A minimum of eight years of experience in IT network architecture, protocols, and best practices, with an understanding of the unique requirements of health lab facilities.

Experience working with network infrastructure, vendors, contractors, and specialized healthcare equipment providers.

Proficiency in project management tools and software, including salesforce project tracker, MS Project, and Visio.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Effective communication skills and interpersonal abilities.

Must be able to work both on-site and, if needed, remotely.
Requirements:

The Contractor/Network project managers would perform a variety of services, both in-person, at Client Health Department LIC office or other Health Department locations, and, if needed, remotely, including but not limited to:

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and requirements to network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN and WLAN.

Identify potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to address issues that may arise during the course of network projects such as equipment failure, resource constraints or scope changes.
