Job Description:
- Manage and oversee the execution and delivery of geospatial data for NG911 Class 3.
- Develop a sustainable workflow for authorizing and updating map tiles and PSAP boundaries.
- Enforce NG911 GIS compliance with industry standards from NENA and APCO, encompassing the complete workflow from LVF/ECRF creation to Call Handling.
- Provide test cases and identifying risks associated with Geospatial System integration into the NG911 system.
- Develop a sustainable workflow for packaging and delivering City Street and Centerline (CSCL), Automated Location Information (ALI), and Master Street Address Guide (MSAG) data to the Class 3 NG911 subsystem.
- Validate test results for GIS components of the NG9-1-1 system during SAT and SIT, review applicable architectural flows, and compare with raw test results to ensure the system behaves as expected.
Responsibilities:
- minimum 12 years of experience requirement
- Ability to perform spatial analysis, geostatistics, network analysis, and other spatial data manipulations.
- Extensive experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro), QGIS, MapInfo, or similar.
- Ability to perform and interpret complex spatial analyses, including spatial statistics, network analysis, and terrain analysis.
- Experience managing GIS projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Experience in data collection, integration, cleaning, and maintenance of spatial datasets.
- Experience in developing custom GIS applications and tools to meet specific user requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex spatial problems.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Requirements:
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Professional certifications such as Esri Technical Certification, GISP (GIS Professional), or other relevant certifications are often preferred.
