Job Description:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Salesforce Architect or in a similar role, with proven experience in multiple Salesforce clouds (Experience, Education, Marketing, Service). 

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Certified Technical Architect, Certified Application Architect) are desirable but not compulsory. 

  • Experience in the higher education sector is a significant advantage. 

  • Exceptional technical skills with a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture and development best practices. 

  • Demonstrated expertise in integrating AppExchange solutions and external systems (Boomi, Oracle Campus Solutions (Student Information System), etc..). 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. 

  • A passion for learning and staying at the forefront of Salesforce technology. 

Requirements:

  • Design and implement scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds (Experience, Education, Marketing, Service). 

  • Architect integrations with AppExchange solutions (Linvio, Mogli, Saleswings, etc...) and external systems (Oracle Campus Solutions and other ERP or SAAS applications) using Boomi or other middleware. 

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry best practices. 

  • Multi-Cloud Expertise: 

  • Experience Cloud: Architect and optimize digital experiences for prospective and current students, faculty, staff, and alumni. 

  • Education Cloud: Design and implement solutions to streamline student lifecycle management, recruitment, and engagement. 

  • Marketing Cloud: Enhance student recruitment, engagement, and alumni relations campaigns through targeted communication. 

  • Service Cloud: Streamline student support services, faculty engagement, and issue resolution. 

  • Development Leadership: 

  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to the Salesforce development team. 

  • Review code, enforce coding standards, and ensure the quality and maintainability of solutions. 

  • Participate in hands-on development as needed to solve complex technical challenges. 

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholders across the institution to gather requirements, analyse needs, and ensure solutions meet diverse needs. 

  • Data-Driven Optimization: Utilize analytics and insights to continuously improve Salesforce performance and drive data-informed decision-making.
