Job Description:

• • Implement and troubleshoot upgrades to access and distribution layer switches.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot WAN circuits.
  • Optimize LAN and WAN traffic flow.
  • Quickly solve extremely complex problems relating to network connectivity and performance.
  • Design, implementation and support of a multicast network environment.

Design and implementation of Quality of Service across the network

Requirements:

• • EIGRP and BGP redistribution, integration, traffic shaping, policy routing, priority queuing, map classing and HSRP.
  • Multicasting with IP PIM Sparse/Dense Modes, IGMP and RP/Auto−RP deployment.
  • VoIP and Data QoS/ToS, Traffic Policing, and Priority Queuing.
  • Configuring Cisco CatOS and IOS, Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches and routers.
  • Have a Good understanding of the OSI layers 1−7.
  • In−depth knowledge of the TCP/IP Protocol and related TCP/UDP ports.
  • Ability to work various shifts and be on call to support a 24x7x365 network.
  • Organizational, analytic, and problem−solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and attentiveness to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team−oriented environment.
  • Experience with implementing and managing SolarWinds Network Management Tools.
  • Experience with SONET, ATM, TCP/IP, DWDM, OSPF, RIP, ARP, VLAN’s, COE.
  • Configuring Juniper Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches and routers.
  • Experience with implementing and maintaining Radius & DNS.
  • Experience administering McAfee Security Product Suite & F5 LTM/GTM.
